decliNATIONblog is a parking lot where I come to share my thoughts about issues such as theology, politics, literature, sports, liberty, economics and whatever else I deign thought provoking and/or entertaining.
In fairness to my readers, I do come from a rather unique perspective on many of these subjects and chances are these perspectives are going to at times drive you crazy, cause you to think ill of me or maybe even worse…but hopefully they will at least get you thinking.
I certainly consider myself an Evangelical Christian (Calvinist if you need me to be more precise), a Libertarian (card carrying), and de facto advocate for a free-market economy.
I have been influenced by individuals and leaders such as John Piper, Greg Bahnsen, Ravi Zacharias, John Maxwell, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, and Tom Woods to name a few.
For some quick hits: I think that all drugs should be legal, the Constitution of the United States should be read, understood, and adhered to, Augustine’s “Just War Theory” should be practiced, gold should return as the standard for our currency, citizens should be armed, and David Crowder Band should get more air time.
